Terms of service

Era is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. The adult using the account is responsible for family setup, child profile information, subscription choices, content review, and any voice recording or generation choices.

• Children should use Era only with parent or guardian supervision.
• You agree that you have authority to provide consent for child profile data and family reading features.
• You are responsible for deciding whether generated stories, images, audio, and translations are appropriate for your family.

Some Era features require an auto-renewing subscription, including premium translated reading, family voice features, and certain generation features. Pricing, trial availability, renewal terms, and included features are shown in the app before purchase.

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple using your App Store account.
• Renewal, cancellation, refunds, and billing management are handled by Apple under Apple's purchase rules.
• Premium access can change if a subscription expires, is canceled, fails to renew, or cannot be validated.

Voice recording and voice generation features are for parent or guardian voices, or another speaker whose permission you have obtained. Do not upload recordings of someone else's voice unless they clearly consent to the recording and generated narration use.

• You represent that you have the right to record, upload, process, and generate narration from any voice sample you provide.
• You may not use Era to impersonate someone, deceive others, create unauthorized voice content, or violate privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.
• Replacing a voice may not automatically replace every previously generated audio asset; Era may let you deliberately regenerate old audio from the voice generation center.

Era uses AI systems to help generate stories, translations, images, narration, and timing alignment for family reading and entertainment. Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or not suitable for every child.

• Parents should review AI-generated content before relying on it or presenting it to a child.
• Generated content is not professional, medical, legal, educational, therapeutic, or safety advice.
• Translations, audio pronunciation, highlighting alignment, and image details may contain mistakes.
• We may block, remove, or regenerate content that appears unsafe, infringing, abusive, or technically broken.

You agree to use Era only for lawful, family-appropriate reading and entertainment purposes.

• Do not submit prompts, recordings, images, or other content that you do not have the right to use.
• Do not use Era to harass, exploit, impersonate, defame, or harm another person.
• Do not attempt to bypass subscriptions, abuse generation systems, attack infrastructure, scrape private data, or interfere with other users.
• Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for family reading features.

As between you and Era, you may use generated family reading content for personal, non-commercial family use, subject to these terms and any third-party rights or provider restrictions.

• You remain responsible for the prompts, recordings, and other input you provide.
• Era may store, process, display, adapt, translate, narrate, and regenerate content as needed to provide the service.
• Do not commercialize, redistribute, or publish generated content in a way that violates another person's rights, exposes child data, or misrepresents how the content was made.

Your use of Era is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You agree not to submit unnecessary sensitive child information, private third-party information, or voice recordings without permission.

• Parents can request review, correction, export, or deletion of family data as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Account deletion is intended to remove or disconnect synced account, child profile, voice, generated narration, and reading data, subject to legal, security, backup, and fraud-prevention exceptions.

Era depends on app stores, network connectivity, hosted infrastructure, AI systems, and third-party processors. Features may be unavailable, delayed, changed, suspended, or discontinued.

• We may update, improve, limit, or remove features as Era evolves.
• We may pause or refuse generation requests that fail safety, consent, payment, technical, or abuse checks.
• We may restrict access if a subscription expires or if misuse is detected.

Era is provided as a family reading and entertainment service. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, error-free generation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

• We are not responsible for content a parent chooses to submit, record, generate, save, or share outside Era.
• We are not liable for ordinary AI mistakes, pronunciation errors, translation errors, alignment drift, or service delays, except where the law does not allow such limitation.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
